Suggest Me Right Amount Of Milk To Be Feed For 6 Weeks Infant.

Hi my son was born at 33weeks and is 6weeks old. He weighs about 2kgs. He is drinking pre nan at the moment but it doesnt seem like it makes him full. He drinks 60ml but also 30ml after maybe half an hour. I would like to know if he is maybe not getting enough milk and if not to what i can switch him to.

Hi...a 33 week old baby weighing 2 kg and drinking almost 90 ml every 2 hours once is appropriate. Do not worry. Most important thing rather than the feed volume is - the activity of the baby and the urine output.

If these 2 are appropriate, then you can be rest assured.

I suggest you continue the same Pre-Nan if till now it has not caused any diarrhea for the baby.
