Suggest Medical Treatment For Regaining Balance Post Gamma Knife Surgery

I have an acoustic neuroma and have had unsuccessful surgery to remove it and also gamma knife surgery with no success to remove because of its entanglement in facial nerves. In the past few month my balance has become increasingly worse . What other treatment is available for me ? I have also lost my hearing in right ear .

Hello!

Welcome on Healthcaremagic!

I read carefully your question and understand your concern.
It is true that gait disorders are related to the tumor growth and pressure on the cerebellum.
At this point, you may try another surgery to help reduce the tumor size or other types of radiation (Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy or LINAC Surgery).
You should discuss with your doctor on the above possible treatment options.
Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Kind regards, Dr. Aida
