Suggest Medication After Having Heartburn Due To Change Of Nexium To Pantoprazole
Hi, I have taken Nexium for a long time. It has worked really good for me. Have to change insurance carriers and the Nexium is very high. Had my prescription changed to Pantoprazole. This does not seem to be working for me. I have had heartburn a number of times. What should I try ?
Hi, Welcome to healthcare Magic! Pantoprazole is said to be as effective as nexium. It is strange that it is not working in your case. You should try another brand of pantoprazole to make sure there is enough available drug in preparation you have used. If still the trouble remains there then you should get reevaluation. There are many options in drugs that may comfort you but will need prescription. I hope the advise would be informative and useful for you. Take Care!
