Suggest Medication For UTI And Shingles In A Dementia Patient
My 81 or old father who has been diagnosed with dementia is in the hospital. He was admitted with a severe case of UTI and had shingles all over his torso and back. He is not getting better but is incoherent at times, it is becoming increasingly harder to wake him. He seems still really sick. The doctors are trying to figure what is going on with him. He is also diabetic which seems under control, and has a heart pacer. They have been treating him with antibiotics for five days now. What could be going on with him?
