Suggest Medication For A Pain In The Bottom

my 5 year old boy is complaining that his bottom is hurting him, i have checked fror thread worms but can see nothing, his anus is only mildly redder than normal so i have been using nappy rash creams but these are not working. what would you advise please

Hi,

Even if you check for threadworms they may not be visible.

The most common reason for such pain or irritation is worm infestation and I suggest you use Albendazole in the appropriate dose.

Other reason could be habitual constipation and if it is where you need to correct it.
