Suggest Medication For Acid Reflux

My 15 year old son has had reoccuring problems with vomiting, nausea, dirrhea, slight fevers and pain in his stomach. He has been to the doctor over the years with this and it has been treated as acid reflux (which he has and has had since birth) and as just catching every bug going around school. Well, he is in high school now and it is interfering with his school. He had xrays of his stomach and we were told his intestines were swollen with excess gas. Last night took him to the ER and had a CT, looking to see if he was having appenditis, his appendix wasn't abnormal enough for surgery. I was also told his intestines were abnormal and he needed to see a GI doctor. I am long past worry about this. Any ideas of other avenues I should have them explore or just give me you opinion. Thank you
