Suggest Medication For Bad Breath And Rhinitis And Post Nasal Drip

i have rhinitis and post nasal drip. These do not concern me or bother me it s just that as a result of these conditions, i have developed bad breath. No over the counter remedies work and I use a netipot twice a day but to no avail. I need to get to the root of the cause of bad breath which I am sure is the post nasal drip on the back of the tongue. My dentist has confirmed that my teeth and gums are healthy and he is almost sure it is coming from the back of the throat.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi there,

At this point, I suggest to get further evaluated by ENT specialist and to run culture of throat swab for pathological bacteria/fungus and take proper treatment according to sensitivity testing.

Another reason for bad breathe can be stomach heartburn or GERD as a result of using many medications for nasal drip. So, get your stomach checked by your doctor and get appropriate treatment.

Hope it was of help! Let me know if you have further queries!
