Suggest Medication For Biopsy Mediated Abdominal Pain

My husband had a liver biopsy today. What can we expect tonight ,tomorrow and tomorrow night ? He is in a lot of pain now. He takes his pain t med school, sleeps maybe 2 hours, then up in pain till the next pain med school are taken.How long will he be uncomfortable?

Some degree of pain is common after liver biopsy.
But by your description, it seems that your husband is having extreme pain. And this is unlikely after liver biopsy. It is mostly seen due to complications like intestinal injury, hematoma formation, infection at biopsy site etc.
So better to consult his doctor and rule out these complications.
