Hello Dr. My daughter is 19 months old and she got cold and cough. She is not able to swallo anything and feels vomiting every time she keeps something in her mouth. Her cough seems to be with Phlegm. What is the right course of action to be taken. She is unable to eat any things for the moment.
Hi Welcome to the healthcaremagic There are two possibilities 1) she might be having oral ulcers because of viral infections.These ulcers are very painful.They take 3-4 days to heal.Treatment is to give liquids more till they heal 2) other possibility is enlarged and congested tonsils.
