Hi, my mom is 85 years old, since January, after a cold, she continues with these dry cough. Her family doctor prescribed first antibiotics, then she prescribed some inhalation, and for last she prescribed nasonex. However, the cough persist. It is no a cough constant, some days are better than others but it gets worse when she bend over. She says that she feels something in her throat but although the doctor ask for a X-rays and check her lungs and throat she didn t find anything, that s the reason that she send her to a pneumonologist. I would like to know what do you think? Because may be I have to wait for an appointment a month.
