Suggest Medication For Episodes Of Sweating And Pain In Upper Quadrant At Night
Hi I wake every morning between 3-4 without fail sweating hot and with upper right quadrant pain. I tried so many meds for aleep, but they make my pain and sweating unbearable. my blood tests came out normal. I know there is something wrong, getting four hours of sleep on end, and around my period it is so bad the pain, worse. I am experiencing anxiety and I take Valium 10 mg during day, does not make me sleep and baclofen, I think the baclofen makes my pain worse. I think I have anxiety due to the lack of sleep. I also itch so bad around my period form ANY medication
It seems you are suffering from anxiety and chronic insomnia. Please don't self treat yourself with benzodiazepines like Diazepam as they may be habit forming and cause rebound anxiety. For sleep disturbance practice some simple steps of sleep hygiene regularly like getting up and sleeping on a fixed time, using bed only for sleep, exercising in morning, avoiding tea, coffee after evening, practising relaxation and avoiding stimulating activities like watching TV, mobile after evening. Also your anxiety needs to be treated. It's treatable with medications like SSRIs and counselling that will also normalise your sleep. Avoid self treatment
