Suggest Medication For Fever, Throat Infection And Chest Congestion In A Child

My son is having fever, throat infection and chest congestion. Padeatrician advised to give Cefpodoxine with Potassium clavulinate and decongestants and antipyretics. Fever comes in the night and subsides after administration of paracetomol. This is the 4 th day of fever. We are scared now. Please suggest

You pediatrician has given correct medicine.
But as there is no response after 4 days better to go for a x-ray and if necessary admit him to hospital by consulting your doctor.
