Suggest Medication For Fever

9months old my baby was started fever 3 days before. for a doctor advice i started Fepanil 250 mg 3ml in 8hrs intervel but fever will contionue between 101 - 102 range, third ay with advice i sarted Meftal-P 2.5ml 8hrs intervel. but fevel downwords only applying the medicine. can u give the right advice about the treatment

Hi,

Is there any other complaints apart from fever (cold, cough, rash, loose stools or dysuria)? Fever without any other symptoms in children are usually viral and just needs paracetamol for 3-4 days. Take him back to pediatrician if fever continues beyond 4 days, fresh symptoms appear, he becomes lethargic or not feeding. In this case, this may need a blood routine and urine test and antibiotics accordingly.
