Suggest Medication For Gastroenteritis

My daughter has had gastroenteritis type symptoms for 3 days. Started with a low grade fever and nausea and severe stomach pain. Now fever is gone, but still has headache, nausea and intermittent severe abdominal pain. Is it possible with gastroenteritis not to have vomiting or diarrhea and how long will this last?

Most Common cause of such diarrhea are inflammatory or viral gastritis. As she had fever also then it would be viral gastritis. Avoid spicy and citrus food. Take some antacid syrup before meals which are available over the counter. Take plenty of water. If symtoms persists see your family physician he may advice stool examination.
