Suggest Medication For High BP

My son is 21 and has high blood pressure and on 10mg of Lisinpril is there long term effects from this medicine also we need to find a doctor for him in Athens, Ohio where he tends college, not sure what to look for in a doctor for his condition for best treatment.

I suggest you consult a cardiologist first. Hypertension in the young deserves exclusion of a kidney and a special tumor of the suprarenal glands called phaechromocytoma, and stenosis of renal arteries need special attention. see a cardiologist.
