Suggest Medication For High Fever/dengue
Hi My daughter is 12 years old and has fever from past twelve days her blood report says she has dengue , but fever is not subsidising she is having 103+ temperature now the maleria course of tablet is also completed but still fever is not reduced... plz suggest

There is no specific treatment for dengue.Periodic monitoring of the platelet count and platelet transfusions(if necessary) are the current standard of care.Nursing care plays an important role since the disease a self limiting condition and platelet count restores back to normal by itself.Hope this answers your query.
