Suggest Medication For Intense Pain And Numbness In Ankle

I sprained my ankle 8 days ago at work. The workers comp dr is actually a PA. After they did water ultra sound therapy on me the pain was horrific. A few hours later the pain was intense and began to get numb and cold. The PA said it is normal. IS this?

The intense pain in the ankle after a sprain could be due to a bone injury. This needs to be ruled out after an X-ray. Only pain killers will not help.
