Suggest Medication For Irregular Periods ?

hi doctors , i have been having problems with my period for a while now ,i have been having a lot of cramps during my period and even after its gone , also spotting in between , i also get my period twice a month , i went to the doctor she gave me birth control pills , they make me feel sick , n for the past three months i have gotten my period twice ,i do not want to go back to her because i felt like she did not listen to what my problem was ......e.g she asked if i was pregnant n i told her i was not sexually active at the moment n she still gave me a pregnancy test
