Suggest Medication For Large Bump And Swelling In Leg Due To Injury

My husband works hard everyday. He is a farmer. A little while ago, he bumped his leg on a iron piece of equipment. It started swelling and started hurting. Now he has a large bump on his leg where he was hit. What caused this and what should we do?

Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that your husband bumped his leg on a iron piece of equipment. It started swelling and started hurting. Now he has a large bump on his leg where he was hit. In my opinion it can be large hematoma( collection of blood). If you has no fever, then no need to worry much. Hematoma gradually resolved by itself .
Thrombophob gel local application will be helpful.You can take analgesics such as diclofenac for pain relief.
