Suggest Medication For Nerve Pain Down The Legs ?

I have just bent over, & have nerve pain down both legs & can bearly move. I have degenerate spine lower 1-5 lumber & believe I may have a prolapsed disc. In last week I've had pain whilst sleeping & need to place a pillow under my knees to get any sleep. Should a get help straight away or just rest for a few days before consulting a doctor?

Hi. Bed rest is part of the solution, better to have an MRI of the spine done to know the exact cause and to get treated accordingly.
