Suggest Medication For Pain And Rectal Bleeding Due To Ulcerative Cloitis

ulcertive colitis
I have ulcerive colitis and for the past week I have had beyond severe abdominal pain with a lot of rectal bleeding. I ended up in the ER but they told me they couldn't do anything about it and they only prescribed me vicodone. I can no longer bare the pain and I can't be taking vicodone all the time. what can I do to ease the pain?

Well come to HCM
Thank for asking,
Looking to the history given here, in my opinion the differential diagnosis would be matter of concern, as long as the pain is concern, for the pain it can be managed with narcotic antispasmodic or analgesic if the simple analgesic is not responding but the underlying cause of the pain is matter of concern because it may not be due to the ulcerative colitis, some time it may be functional in origin and this need to be taken in consideration, hope this information helps.
