Suggest Medication For Pain In Head

my 9 year expressed last evening before bed that her head hurt. it hurt as if someone hit her in the head with a hard object. in the middle of the night she expressed that it hurt to even touch or move the hair on her head. the next morning (today) she has been holding freezee s to her head. its now 10pm at night and she has visible blue viens visible on her forhead, located in the temple region. can you advise?

Hi...by what you quote I feel she is having migraine. Is there any family history of migraine? But as of now you can give her Paracetamol in the dose of 15mg/kg/dose every 4-6th hourly for headache. I suggest not using combination medicines, especially with Paracetamol. But as it is severe headache suggest you see your paediatrician.
