Suggest Medication For Pain In The Calf Muscles And Varicose Veins

I have pain in my left calf on the outside of the calf. I have large ropey veins and varicose veins in that area. I have done nothing to injure the area. This started about a week ago and is getting progressively worse. I usually walk on my treadmill about 30 minutes a day and about 1 1/2 miles. I am 65 years old.

Hello.

Varicose veins are a common problem in the elderly. It affects mostly people who stand for prolonged hours in the day and also for people who are obese or have a sedentary lifestyle.

Unfortunately there are no successful medications to treat varicose veins. Compression stockings are useful but are only a temporary measure. Kindly undergo a simple operation and get rid of the problem once and for all. Now you have multiple choices too such as radiofrequency ablation, laser ablation. But most commonly performed is the Trendellenburg operation. Please seek a surgeon's advice at the earliest before complications begin.
