Hi,
From history it seems that he might be4 having some degenerative changes in his lower spines producing Sciatica pain giving this problem.
There might be having osteoporosis or osteomalacia.
Go for5 x-ray lumbo-sacral region for osteoartheritis.
Go for back extension exercises daily.
Give him Calcium, vitamin A and D supplements.
Ask him to go for light walking exercise afterwards.
Ok and take care.
