Suggest Medication For Prostate Enlargement

Hello Doctor, I am a 70 year old male living in India. I have 3 semi solid stools a day, I get up 3 times in the night to pass urine. My prostrate is enlarged and it's weight is 36. I have been prescribed Dutasterine and Tamsulosine Hcl.
Please suggest what medication can help to return to normal. Thanks. P.V.Rajagopal

You are having benign prostatic enlargement .....

For this case usually two mode of treatment available .....
1.five alpha reductase inhibitor that inhibit conversion of testosterone to its more active form. ..
So further prostate smooth muscle proliferation stimulation stopped

2.Alpha blocker that improve symptoms from enlarge prostate smooth muscle within few days ...

You have prescribed both this drug so don't worry...

It will take few weeks to month for full fledged effect ...
