Suggest Medication For Severe Diarrhea, fever And Loss Of Appetite

We recently moved to a new area & since we moved my 2 year old has had random watery & smelly diarrhea & throws up at random times and that has a bad foul smell to it too. It s not everyday and she has no fever. She has had a loss of appetite & her behavior has been worse but not sure if that is due to the move or her not feeling well. Is this a virus or something I should bring her in for?

These symptoms point towards viral infection... Could be hepatitis... For that get a liver function test, stool culture and sensitivity, Hbsag, anti HEV anti Hav. Anti Hcv done and a hemogram and serum electrolytes also... To prevent dehydration and electrolytes loss drink ors solution as much as you can, atleast 2 litres a day... Take tab ondensetron when vommiting, tab rantac 150 mg twice daily , tab ciplox 500mg twice daily, tab metrogyl 400 mg thrice daily... Continue this for one week... Also take a probiotic like bifilac cap or sachet twice daily for one week...if it's a bacterial infection these medicines will be helpful, if it's viral infection that's causing hepatitis or gastroenteritis, then condition will improve itself over few days... Further management to be decided after blood reports...
