Suggest Medication For Severe Pain When Diagnosed With Osteoarthritis Despite Treatment
My daughter ( age 66 ) has osteoarthritis in her knees. The pain is unimaginable and we were wondering if Laser treatments, along with nerve treatments would help. She has an HMO so she would have to pay for these expensive treatments and I ve been reading that there really isn t any proof that laser treatments help. Is this true? Thank you. Mrs. Judd
You are right, we hardly ever use or experiment with laser treatment for helping patients with OA in my part of the world. I would not really recommend it as I am of the opinion that it will not cause any significant change, even more because your family will be paying for the treatment off your own pockets.
Best wishes.
