Suggest Medication For Sharp Pain In Left Waist Region
Yes, I am having a sharp pain in my left waist region. It is unlike anything I have ever had before. I am a 54 year old active male. About ten years ago I had two heart valve replacement surgeries and a brain surgery caused by an infection from the first surgery. The pain is constant and is very sensitive to the touch. Do you have any ideas? I realize it would be a guess, I just didn t know whether I should ignore it or try an see a physician.
I have studied your case and I think that following are possibilities in your case regarding this sharp pain. 1. It can be kidney stone- usually pain in waist region is caused by renal stone. it can be very severe and usually associated with burning urination and pain.It can be confirmed by ultrasound examination of the abdomen. 2. Other cause can be infection in kidney as you have already had surgeries for infection. It can be confirmed with blood test and CT scan of the abdomen. 3. It can be muscle pull due to sleeping in wrong posture or sudden movement. So i would recommend you to show it to your doctor and rule out these causes. I would suggest you to donot delay this as it can be dangerous. I hope this answer will be useful for you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions. thanks.
