yes, hi, my husband has been suffering from sinus headaches for the past three weeks. About an hour ago, I gave him a Claritin D but he cant take the headache, we want to know which should I give him for pain, A percocet, Ibuprophen 800 or what do you recommend
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..
As per your complain in case if your husband is suffering from sinus headache it can be due to frontal sinusitis.. In case if the pain is severe he can take higher painkillers like Tramadol. He can also take decongestant nasal sprays like Otrivin or Nasivion. Steam inhalations can help.. He can also be taken to an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation along with PNS View or MRI Scan of the sinuses can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly.. As of now he can take the above advised painkiller and take sufficient rest..
Hope this information helps.
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora
