Suggest Medication For Sinus Pain And Headache

I am on day 9 of a cold which has culminated in sinus pain and associated headache. The pain is in the lower left sinus area under my eye. I ve been doing inhalations of hot water and vicks vapour rub and this does soften it but it comes back immediately causing significant pain. The colour is dark green to brown and occasional trace of blood. I have a unopened box of FLUCLOXACILLIN here and was wondering if I could take this antiotic for this infection?

Yes you can take a course of Flucloxacillin, as antibiotics can give a good relief from your symptoms. It is useful in treating Chest infections, Ear, nose and throat infections, such as sinusitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, otitis media and otitis externa etc.

Also take,
- tab. Vitamin C 500mg twice daily
- use Nasivion spray 2-3drops thrice a day
- Steam inhalation
- Analgesics
- Also to have a consultation with an ENT specialist for further evaluation.
