hello sir,i have been suffering for sore throat and cough for last two months.i have taken 3 courses of antiobiotics and lots of cough syrups as well as anti allergic tablets.i have also conducted my throat swab and tc/dc test.Reports of these tests are normal.Inspite of taking too many medicines my sorethroat is not been relieved.I am really stressed.Please show me some path to cure it.For this act i shall be ever thankful to u.
You may be suffering from chronic pharyngitis. It may be due to post nasal discharge or acid reflux or allergy. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Use tablet Amoxicillin and Clauvulinic acid 625 mg for five days. Drink hot water only, use salt water gargling thrice a day for five days. use tablet Pantaprazole 40 mg for one week. If symptoms not improved please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
