I would advise you to send the stool sample for tests so that if infection is present this can be treated properly with an antibiotic active against intestinal infection, metronidazole and probiotics to get well soon; once treated properly, the blood counts will get normalized. Take plenty of boiled and cooled water, electrolyte solution and proper diet. Repeat the blood and stool tests after three days. Consult your Doctor for clinical evaluation, examination and further management as the risks taken can take more time for recovery. Take care the next time you go for travel.
