Suggest Medication For Stomach Pain And Diarrhea
My son was experiencing unsettled stomach, then pains constipation and then diarrhoea. Had a blood test which resulted in a blood platelet count of 1119. His energy is low, is unable to eat any quantity of food and is only comfortable when completely still. He has been referred to a Haematologist next week but my son is very worried and he has been given no advice regarding pain management. Can you help?

I really appreciate your concern, what the history if given here could be due to gastritis and it may be due to infection or may be due to inflammatory changes, I would suggest to try antibiotic with PPI and best option is Tab Doxycycline 100 mg once in day and Tab Omeprazole 40 mg once in a day for 4 four weeks, if no investigation done yet then better to get done the ultrasonography test hope this information helps.
