Suggest Medication For Swelling Of The Elbow

I had fell on my elbow, and struck the ball of it right on a hard floor. The area was tender at first, and four days later it started to swell and tighten up. I have been keeping the sweelling down with over the counter anti inflamitories and ice, but the swelling still comes back after 4 days. I was wondering if an antibiotic is needed, and if an Xray is really necessary.
