Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist 's  Response
Hello,

As there will be a nerve compression due to the weakness of the muscle there will be a shock kind of feeling. Doing simple finger and toe strengthening exercises along with exercises to improve the muscle power of the feet will benefit you.

In my clinical practice of over 12 years, most cases with foot pain are helped better with strengthening exercises of the muscles involved.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
