Suggest Medication For Urine Infection

hI, I am from the UK but living in Kenya and a bit worried about my condition. I had a urine infection for which I was prescribed antibiotics and finished the course last week. Wanting to know if it had cleared I took another urine test and it shows Epithelial Cells 4-8/HPF AND Pus Cells 8-10/HPF. The pus cells I don't think showed in my last test. Yesterday I started feeling quite ill, vomited and felt very weak. I had a test for malaria which proved negative. I'm wondering if I have a sexually transmitted disease. It is painful when I have sex. I have just taken a blood test and a vaginal swab and am waiting for the results. To be honest I'm not confident in the quality of care here, poor hygiene at the clinic i took the tests and I don't have much faith in the clinicians. Any thoughts on my condition. I'm still feeling very weak and not at all like eating since yesterday lunchtime.

Urologist 's  Response
Firstly, urine with pus cells >5/HPF indicates urinary tract infection. Despite taking antibiotics, u have persistence of infection. This could be due to culture resistant antibiotic or a persistent source or recent srxual contact.
U need to get urine culture, Ultrasound KUB.
Avoid sexual contact at least for 2-3 weeks.
Treat ur infection with culture sensitive antibiotics, preferably broad spectrum. If any source of infection is found on ultrasound, it has to be treated.
If u have vaginal discharge, u may probably also have Sexually Transmitted Disease, which again needs to be treated with appropriate antibiotics.
