Suggest Medication To Recover From Cerebral Hemerage

Dear Dr I m writing this about my father, he is 65 years, 55kg and has a history of cerebral hemerage in 1998, still under medication (bp:90 -140).But now it is diagnosed that he is having the pulse rate 41 - 45,ECG has been taken and it shows some variations.Could you please advise that what treatment/measures need to be followed? Now planning to consult cardiologist Dr Kannan in Kollam Thanking in advance for your reply and help Pradeep Dubai

Hello,

The low pulse rate could be related to beta-blockers (if he is taking any of these drugs currently). Another possible issue to consider would be Sick Sinus Syndrome. For this reason, it is important consulting with a cardiologist for a physical exam, a cardiac ultrasound and an ambulatory 24-48 hours ECG monitoring. I would like to directly review his ECG report if you could upload it on this site, in order to be able to give a more professional opinion.
