Suggest Medication To Stop Alzheimer Patient From Talking Non Stop
My mother is alzimher patient, she is under medication of admenta 5 mg daily once, nexito 5mg twice a day,quitipin25mg one at morning and two tablets in night. Get problem now is she talks a lot non stop just like that, Pl suggest the medicine. Regards, prakash
I understand your concern and gone through your query.
Admenta can help to reduce further worsening in dementia. Behaviour disturbances like talking is common in Alzhiemer patients. Quitiapine can help to some extent to reduce it. If she has still talkativeness then need to add another anti psychotic medicines. Need to consult psychiatrist for proper evaluation of her mental status. In old age it would be better to give medicine after proper evaluation and examination.
So consult and get help.
I hope I have answered your question.
Thank you.
