Hi,

I have gone through your query.
Bruising after needle insertion is due to inflammation of vein (thrombophlebitis). This is a complication of the procedure and there is no need to worry. It is not harmful, only you need right treatment. Ointment like Thrombophob should be applied over it and it will disappear in a week time.

Hope I have answered you.
Wish you good health
