Suggest Medicine For Cough

Hi! I gave 5 ml of ambrolites to my 2 years old son around 11 p.m., tonight. He is keep on coughing at every one hour gap and not able to sleep properly.... Is this the way, medicine works on kids or do I need to take another action.... Pls advice... Am worried...

Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic. Cough in kids is very common symptom It could be a manifestation of viral upper respiratory infection or a wheeze. Any cough medication will not immediately give absolute relief. If the kid is not having respiratory distress or fast breathing or noisy breathing, I don't think you should worry.
