Suggest Medicine For Stomach Ache Caused By Eating Cake And Strwberries
Hi. Last night I ate some red velvet cake along with some black berries and strawberries. Shortly after that my stomach started to really hurt. I've thrown up everything in my stomach, including watet when I try to drink it. I've also been having bright yellow, almost like bial and very liquid bowels. What does this mean and should I see a doctor? I recently had a c-section with my now 7 month old son so I'm still a little overweight. I'm about 5'2 and weigh 156lbs and I'm 25 years old.
Hello, my name is Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi. I understand your concern. Your symptoms seem to be related to food poisoning. Some advices that I can give to you are: -Avoid food for the first few hours as your stomach settles down. -Drink water, broth, or an electrolyte solution, which will replace the minerals that you lose with vomiting and diarrhea. Eat when you feel ready, but start with small amounts of bland, nonfatty foods such as toast, rice, and crackers. - Get plenty of rest. Hope my answer was helpful, if you have any other questions I'll be glad to help. Kind regards!
