Hi Doctor, I'm 24 years old female and I weigh 96 kgs. I have been suspected for PCOD because of the clinical symptoms like hi-weight, facial hair, 20-25 days cycle...however my test results were normal, an endocrinologist gave me gluromin xl 5oo + tayo 1000 and one more medicine. However my blood sugar & BP is always in control.
I want to loose weight, i eat moderately (around 1500 cal/day), no suger no rice no potato etc....please suggest a medicine which can act as a catalyst to weight lost.i dont want appetite sup-resents or protein shakes etc.
Internal Medicine Specialist, Dr. Ivo Ditah's Response
Hi,
Medications rarely provide long lasting solutions to weight issues. I will rather encourage you to pick up good habits of controlling diet, exercising often and staying active. Remember that results might take long to happen and you would need to exercise patience.
I wish you well.
