Hi,

Avoid papaya. You have mild type 2 diabetes. Treatment algorithms by several professional societies [ADA (American Diabetes Association) / European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD)]. I suggest Metformin as initial therapy because of its efficacy. Metformin’s advantages are that it promotes mild weight loss, lowers insulin levels, and improves the lipid profile slightly. Consult your doctor.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
