Suggest Medicine To Increase Weight In A Handicapped Man

Dear Sir, One of the my friend whose name is Dilip is very weak. He is 28 yrs now. He is Handicapped. His height near about 173 cm & weight is 40 KG. It means his weight is 25 to 30 KG less as per his height. Please suggest good treatment for him....??? As he is very depressed now days because he is going to marry next year

Welcome to HCM.
Please explain him low weight is not a disease.
It may be due to his genetic structure.
Handicapped is also not a shameful thing.
It's his destiny and no need to worry as he is more special then us.
For depression please consult your psychiatrist or counselor for guidance and help.
You can take help from elders in your family because this is very minor thing.
Certain things are there for weight gain.
Take 3 meals and 2 snacks a day.
Increase your calory intake daily then average.
Take breads with peanut butter, jam or cheese.
Take starchy vegetables potatoes, peas, corn or beets.
Take dense fruit like bananas, pears, apples, pineapple or dried fruit.
Take milk and dairy products, and juices more.
Take oils and nutritional supplements for weight gain.
Avoid margarine which is bad for heart as it contains trans fat.
Take more proteins from peas, beans, eggs, soya, meat etc.
Start muscle training from trained trainers with weight lifting.
Also consult your doctor for help and guidance.
