Your concern is pretty correct but you need not worry much.
Your weight is more than as per your height but you should not take much
stress for that as stress is one of the factor for weight gain.
So just keep calm and follow there instructions:
1) HIGH FIBRE DIET
2) Avoid SUGAR, oily food AND REFINED FLOUR PRODUCTS
3) Do 15 minutes brisk walk, twice daily
4) take small frequent meals.
5)Drink plenty of fluids to keep your self hydrated
6) Do proper charting for calories intake and calories burned (note: calorie intake should be somewhat less than calories burned in a day)
7) involve yourself in outdoor activities
