Suggest Next Action To Help A Child Who Has Swallowed Advil

My little man just got ahold of three advils my husband left them on our coffee table not thinking about it he left them their to get water to take them and came back and noticed our little boy ate them what should I watch for I am freaking out should I take him in or what? We have been making him drink a lot of water right now

Concerning the issue of child accidentally chewing three tablet of advil I will suggest you watch out for side effects which include headache sweating nausea vomiting diarrhoea constipation stomach upset

If the above symptoms are there please take him to the Emergency physician for clinical evaluation as possible inducing emesis immediately as one of treatment measure

Giving the child a lot of water may help dilute the drugs and enhance its absorption into the body system so rather you can give activated charcoal to absorb the drug
