Suggest Opinion On Taking Dianne 35

Hi doctor, I am currently engaged to my partner and is now afraid. I took Dianne 35 2 years ago for 3 months and stopped. Now, I have started taking Dianne 35 again for 2 months but the results are very worrying... I now bleed after intercourse, and my partner sees it. It started when I used the contraceptive, Im afraid that i might get pregnant if i stop the medication but is afraid to continue due to bleeding during intercourse... hope ucan help....

Hello
Dianne 35 i.e. cyproterone 2 mg + ethinylestadiol 35 mcg.
Since you are having bleeding after intercourse ( after the use of dianne 35 ) .
The reason of bleeding may ;
1 Hormonal imbalance , so get in blood for estrogen , androgen and progesterone .2 Uterine disorder , get in ultrasound of uterus for confirmation of diagnosis .
Because bleeding only occurs after intercourse after the use of dianne so problem may be due to this oral contraceptive , so change oral contraceptive or adopt other methods .
So consult a gynecologist and get his opinion.
