Suggest Options To Make Formula Milk Palatable

5 month old baby doesn't like formula. My supply seems to have died off. He's losing weight and diapers are not very wet. So breast-feeding is not an option but he's not taking the formula. Can I add something to the formula to makenit more palatable?

Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic.

As you say he is already 5 months old you can try giving him porridge like Cerelac or Nestum Rice which he might find palatable. But apart form this to make formula milk palatable, you can add some sugar to it. But I warn you that adding excess sugar might result in diarrhea (osmotic).

Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish your kid good health.
