Suggest Pain In Stomach, nausea, vomiting And Weight Loss

I have been not feeling well for about three weeks. I have severe pain in my stomach and right side that seems to go through to my back. Almost every time I eat I get nauseated to the point where I usually vomit. I have also noticed that I have lost weight in this time, about ten pounds or more. I thought I had a stomach bug, but now I'm not sure anymore. I've had kidney stones in the past and thought maybe that was what I was experiencing. I am probably going to make an appointment, but I'm not sure what to expect. This is pretty scary for me.

Hello,

This seems different issue rather than simple stomach bug, which can be issues with intestine, liver, gall bladder, bile drainage system, pancreas or others.

You need ultrasound or CT scan examination for the diagnosis and further management accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
