Suggest Painless Vaccines For A Child
Hi Doctor!I have a 6 week old daughter, and we are waiting for the painless vaccines for sometime now. We have knocked doors of several big and reputed hospitals in Mumbai, as well as clinics of other paediatricians..to no avail.Is it really a shortage or is it an artificial crisis? I want my baby to be spared of the pain, and seek your guidance...Regards Neil gupta

Less pain NOT Pain less.
Yes there is still SHORTAGE of this particular vaccine is going on.
But other variety of vaccines are now available who are to be of less reactogenicity.
Analgesics antipyretics with proper doses at 4hourly interval along with hot fomentation reduces the problem up to much extent.
